Warm Craftsman Safeguarding Cotton Fields and Handcrafted Quilts in Lingzailiao—Tsai Shun-Long
打從國小畢業便入行學做棉被的阿龍師，原是出身台南學甲區的棉花農，在收棉花的舅舅的引介之下，才認識了從前的老頭家，而有機緣踏入此行。他所學的這路手藝，追本溯源估計也傳承了上百年。憶起自己的學徒時光，至今已在這個產業深耕50多年的阿龍師，靠著手工製被撐起一個家。
Master A-Long entered the quilt-making trade right after graduating from elementary school. Originally a cotton farmer from Xuejia District in Tainan, he was introduced to a former workshop owner through his uncle, who collected cotton, and thus had the opportunity to step into this line of work. The craft he learned can be traced back and is estimated to have been passed down for over a century.Recalling his days as an apprentice, Master A-Long—who has now devoted more than 50 years to this industry—has supported his family through the traditional art of handcrafting quilts.
